Our Horses
Strawberry Sunday
Known simply as "Sunday", Strawberry Sunday got his name from the strawberry brown color of his coat and because he was born on Sunday June 23, 2002. Sunday is a Tennessee Walker cross Gelding.
The family acquired him just after his birth, and he joined his brother Mr. Cotton at our family home in Mississippi, just a few miles from where he was born.
He is very affectionate and loves rubbing his face on the clothing of Mr. Freddy and his daughters who help out around the farm. You can sometimes catch him galloping through the pastures with the wind in his mane.
Princess Sandy
Princess Sandy, commonly known as Sandy, was retrieved from Mississippi on February 20, 2022. Her birthday is March 19, 2004. While we do not have much information about her past, she has a great future with Freddy's Heavenly Gaits. It feels like this is where she should've been all along! She has become inseparable from Sunday.
Sandy loves treats like apples and carrots. During the warmer months, you can also find her laying in the pasture soaking up the sun.
Stella Rosa
We welcome Stella as the newest addition to Freddy's Heavenly Gaits! Stella Rosa's name was carefully chosen and has a secret symbolic meaning. Similar to Sunday, Stella is a Tennessee Walker. Her birth year is estimated to be 2012.Mr. Freddy made a special trip to Texas in January of 2024 to get her and braved the snow to bring her to her forever home.
Stella is settling in great! She gets along well with both Sunday and Sandy and is steadily learning the ropes of being a part of our family.

Fun Fact: Stella is the only horse or human on the farm that was not born in Mississippi!
